Anaid’s interest to know more about the eastern spiritual teachings begun during her Anthropological studies at the University of Iowa. Meditation was one of the arts that interested her the most; she decided to undertake various Sesshin retreats in a Buddhist Soto Zen monastery, located in northeast Iowa, USA.

The need to continue learning more about these arts and having access to traditional teachings pushed her to continue searching, until she managed to begin studying the internal Daoist arts in 2015, under the guidance of Damo Mitchell; founder of Lotus Nei Gong.

It was here where Anaid finally managed to have access to traditional practices and teachings that she had longed to find for many years. Anaid continues to travel to various parts of Europe to continue studying Qi Gong, Dao Yin, Nei Gong, Taiji and Nei Dan (Internal Alchemy), with Damo Mitchell.
